Accommodations

Posted in the sidebar are links to accommodations in the Lake Geneva area.

Part of the reason we chose Grand Geneva was the luxury of having rooms, ceremony and reception all within walking distance of each other. No waiting in between the ceremony and cocktail hour and no risk of dangerous driving after the reception. In addition to Grand Geneva, there are two other hotels directly adjacent to the resort. A number of rooms are being held under our names for Friday, Saturday and Sunday night at Grand Geneva. If you choose to stay at Grand Geneva  (around $230 per night), be sure to tell them that you're attending the wedding.

These rooms will be reserved until July 11th.

There are a number of more affordable locations including campsites also listed. We are currently researching more hotel and motels in the area that are affordable and nice and will add them as we find them. Depending on your needs and plans for the weekend, you may also want to look into hotels in neighboring towns as they are all fairly close together.

Hello friends and family!

On August 11th, 2012, Kristin Anderson Barrick and Travis Richard Shisler will be married at Grand Geneva in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin.

Following the indoor ceremony, there will be a lovely buffet dinner and reception at the Chalet (also a part of Grand Geneva).

We're so excited to be able to share this special day with you and look forward to creating a fantastic special night for all of us.

This site is to provide additional information about the wedding including directions, local hotel and motels, and registry information. It's also a forum to ask questions, get in contact with us and coordinate lodging and transportation.
